ERI
LTD
July/August 2009 |
 |
| ERI
has been working in partnership with its customers for over
two decades creating inspirational environments. It translates
concepts into cost-effective, practical solutions to strengthen
brands and deliver customer experiences that are second to none.
From design through to manufacture and installation, the ERI
name has become synonymous with the quality, style and innovation
necessary to maintain a competitive edge in fast-moving marketplaces.
It serves the customer-facing needs of its clients within the
retail, hotel and leisure industry, financial, healthcare, education
and public sector markets in the UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe,
Middle East States, Russia and Far East. |
 |
 |
 |
ERI’s
ability to deliver outstanding results throughout every phase
of a project is based on the knowledge and technical skills
of its team and their access to the latest engineering tools
and techniques. These skills are underpinned by expert client
and sector specific teams to ensure the smooth running of any
project, no matter how large or how unusual.
From concept to completion, the company pays the ultimate attention
to design detail. It uses the latest 3D modelling software to
enable clients to accurately visualise the finished project.
Its design services include product design, value engineering
and space planning, and ERI actively works with clients, architects
and designers to develop and implement their concepts. |
 |
 |
 |
ERI
has invested in a manufacturing facility of 170,000sq ft that
mixes traditional skills such as joinery and metalwork with
high-tech engineering processes including acrylics fabrication
and CNC machining.
The factory boasts modern technology including computer controlled
saws operated by the latest Magicut software that optimises
material utilisation, CNC Machining centres that are directly
connected to the CAD stations, Membrane and laminate presses
and hi-tech edge-banding machines to give a high quality finish.
Laser cutting, specialised welding and stainless steel fabrication
feature in the metal shops. All of this is complemented by
an ability to fashion stunning acrylics. Whatever the specialised
material, they work with its natural properties to create
outstanding results.
In addition, the integrated in-house warehousing facility
offers the customer the advantage of a 24-hour central UK
logistics’ location. The comprehensive logistics offer
has the capacity to provide the customer onsite bonded stock
options for contract stock holding, enabling the customer
to procure roll-outs and higher quantities of equipment whilst
stocks are controlled in a secure and accessible environment.

ERI’s
Far East supply chain resource is proven, secure and reliable.
This is coupled with an in-house procurement team that is
dedicated to global supply chain management for innovated
ideas for material and cost values.
The company has been recognised by the industry’s leading
bodies for its high standards in design, production, installation
and health and safety and has adopted a best practice approach
to every aspect of its operations, which has resulted in ERI
attaining the following accreditations: OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001,
ISO 14001, the National Britannia Safe Contractor, CHAS, and
being awarded the British Safety Council International Safety
Awards in 2007 and 2008.

To
achieve such high standards, the recruitment of key personnel
is of paramount importance. To this end, ERI recently recruited
Hutchinson as Director of Business Development, commencing in
June 2009. She brings with her considerable industry knowledge
and experience, having worked within a number of the industry’s
finest, reputable companies.
Hutchinson is to implement and launch the company’s sales
and marketing strategy, whilst also being responsible for new
business development.
“The company continues to gather momentum,” she
says. “We have successfully delivered the manufacturing
and installation of bespoke equipment to Signet Group, Primark,
Oasis and Marks & Spencer, whilst we have supplied equipment
and point-of-sales roll-out projects to Post Office and Boots.
“We have seen the continued growth of our client portfolio
within retail, hotels and leisure and have diversified into
the public sector in recent times,” continues Hutchinson.
“We believe this to be based on our proven track record
of measured deliverables, reputation and a strategic approach
to the company’s business planning and growth pattern.
