GRANGE HOTELS

Grange Hotels is a collection of 14 private luxury hotels, ranging from small boutique hotels to 400-bedroom international-style properties, all superbly located in the heart of London, where guests enjoy individual character, a wealth of history and local tradition combined with contemporary luxury and outstanding value that only the very best independent hotels can provide.

The company’s portfolio includes some of the best located properties in London, with elegant and beautifully designed bedrooms and suites, extensive restaurants and bars, interesting architecture, exquisite furnishings and warm, personal and professional service. The opportunities range from royal banquets to the pampered luxury of private
health clubs.

Grange Hotels has evolved its offering of primarily four- and five-star hotels by listening to clients’ suggestions and addressing their requirements. “We have positioned our hotels in key locations, following feedback and consultation from our customers, giving them the options best suited to their needs,” says Assistant Director of Sales, Damon Goldsmith.
The hotelier’s flagship is currently the Grange City Hotel at Tower Hill, though the development of its newly-launched Grange St Paul’s will see a new jewel in the crown.

With 433 bedrooms and a purpose-built Conference and Events Centre that caters for banqueting dinners for up to 6-700 people, Grange St Paul’s leads the way in the company’s generational development, says Goldsmith. “As well as bringing through new products, we always closely follow what is going on in the world of hospitality and what the client’s requirements are.”

A prime example of this awareness of guests’ needs can be found at the Grange City Hotel where the hotelier recently introduced its widely acclaimed female-friendly rooms, a concept that will be rolled out on a larger scale at the Grange St Paul’s.

Of course, there remain aspirations and the development plan is continuously assessed, whether it be retrospective programmes for the improvement of existing properties or the pursuit of new developments.

“We are currently looking at our options in the West End, whilst also pursuing possible properties that may come live in the City within the next 18 months,” explains Goldsmith. “We are also giving consideration for an airport hotel within that
same timeframe.”

Naturally, location has always been the guiding principle when deciding upon a new property, though the company tends to avoid the main street, instead favouring a ‘one street away’ policy.

“This means that whilst we are not right in front of people in respect of high street positioning, we are able to entertain our guests a quiet, comfortable environment, ensuring guest enjoyment and satisfaction,” says Goldsmith.
