As the RLI Mix enters a new decade, its success underlines the importance of networking and the need for a new, international opportunity

Starting the New Year as it means to go on, the RLI Mix held its first bi-monthly event of 2010 at Monsieur M in Shoreditch, London, on 28 January. As usual the event was extremely well attended, with around 130 invited guests enjoying the convivial surroundings of one of London’s newest restaurants. Here, they had the opportunity to mingle, network and catch up with colleagues and friends.
Sponsored by Marc Bringmann, owner of Monsieur M, the event re-emphasised the RLI Mix’s importance on the industry’s networking calendar, underlining both its success over the past four years and the necessity, especially in the current tough trading environment in which we find ourselves, of a regular meeting of minds.
“I have been saying for nearly two years that I would like to host the RLI Mix,” said Bringmann, “and here we are.

It is true to say that without this event, there would be no restaurant; the contacts that I have made through the RLI Mix have enabled me to develop relationships with key industry figures, leading me to form the team that made Monsieur M a reality.”
The RLI Mix, which is hosted by RLI Publisher Jayne Rafter and The Mix, a multi-disciplinary consultancy led by Terry Cole, Audra Lamoon and Steve Edge, would like to thank Marc and all the staff at Monsieur M for their hospitality and wonderful food. The next RLI Mix will be held on 25 March and will be sponsored by Gensler, the venue will be announced shortly. |
