An open-air outlet named “Neo Plaza” is expected to open its doors in Spring 2020 just a few short miles west of Nicosia, Cyprus. The works on the 10,000m² scheme, that will be constructed on 35,000m² site, were announced to begin by June this year. Inspired by Cypriot architectural traditions, the new outlet will host around 50 retail shops, a recreational park for events, a playground, an arts and crafts section, and a food court. Big names from retailers and chain stores have shown interest in the investment, while the primary focus for the developers is staying true to the mission of discounted premium stores.
Sotiris Sigalas, General Manager at Neo Plaza, commented: “Neo Plaza will be a shopping and entertainment destination for the whole family. Beyond the fashion stores, there will be restaurants, cafes and a playground which we believe will be unique in Cyprus. Our intention is to offer a fantastic customer journey to our visitors. Although it is premature to announce which stores will choose to be housed in our Outlet Village, similar projects abroad usually include, among others, well-known brands such as Nike, Adidas, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gant, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Benetton, Diesel, Levi’s, Navy Green, Guess and others, which offer discounts of 30-70% throughout the year.”
