Therme Group Reveals Plans to Open Resorts Across the UK

Hotspots in London, Scotland and Wales are being considered as potential sites to unveil new innovative destinations.

The news comes following Therme Group securing approval from Manchester City council to build their first UK resort at TraffordCity. The ground-breaking complex is expected to cost £250M to build and will cover an area of 28 acres.

The potential roll-out of future resorts is set to create 3000 direct jobs and also represents a major investment into the UK’s health and wellbeing sector. The brand’s bespoke concept blends nature with sustainable technology to provide a relaxing experience for the body, mind and soul.

James Mark, Chief Operating Officer of Therme Group, commented: “Therme Group is at an advantage stage of discussion with local authorities and stakeholders in several locations in Wales, Scotland and London. We will be locating out resorts within large population centres.

“Our concept, creating indoor biodiverse ecosystems that combine pure waters and natural environments, is already hugely popular in a number of European cities and it is a concept that will fundamentally improve the way we will live in the future.”
