The company has revealed the Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster on Wooster Street in New York’s SoHo district has opened its doors.
This is their first store in New York and they are positioning it as an opportunity to expand their business in the US. The new store is a 150sq m store with 25m long windows and it is located at 52 Wooster Street. LED panels installed all over the space project Yohji Yamamoto’s world view as wallpaper as an artistic expression and at the time of opening, photographer TAKAY’s “Yohji Yamamoto” and “Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME” will be displayed.
We will be exhibiting monochrome works taken from the Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The store will carry the company’s various brands, including Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme and “LIMI feu”, making it one of the largest line-ups in the country. Additionally, beacons will be installed and omni-channel functionality will be implemented in collaboration with the online boutique “THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO”.
