The Middle Eastern venue Sand will serve upmarket regional dishes and elegant mocktails when it opens its doors to customers later this month.

The heart of the new venue will be an open kitchen made using terracotta tiles and the 110-cover venue boasts both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery.

The menu includes dishes such as mezze, pastries and barbecue dishes and the mocktail list has been inspired by local flavours of Sharjah in order to satisfy even the most discerning palate. Creations on offer include the Gold Swan Mocktail made with apple, elderflower and edible gold and the Sand Mocktail made from chocolate, fruit aroma and a hue of violet.

The group is already running popular dining venues across Dubai and it now has sights on international hotspots such as Monaco, Moscow, Miami and London. There are also plans to expand into Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
