In spring 2026 legendary hotelier Ian Schrager will bring his cult-favorite hotel brand to the West Coast with the debut of PUBLIC West Hollywood.
The launch of the luxury for all concept will mark the hospitality gamechanger’s return to the city for the third time, with a 137-key property on the iconic Sunset Strip. Showcasing a new idea for a new age, the hotel will be situated within a landmark building with design executed by Schrager in collaboration with British architect John Pawson. Standout amenities will include a pool and a social hub lobby, in addition to three destination food, beverage and entertainment outlets.
The crowning glory of the hotel will see a lushly landscaped 16,000sq ft open-air rooftop terrace with 360-degree views of Los Angeles. The hotel will showcase Schrager’s vision of democratic luxury through curated multi-sensory experiences, built on four key pillars – great service, style, entertainment and experience. Reservations will be live in early January, 2026.
