The brand has opened its first flagship in South Korea, selecting Seoul’s Gangnam district for the 9,000sq ft, three-storey location as the brand accelerates its Asia Pacific expansion.
The store debuts a new retail design concept centred on movement and sensory engagement, incorporating structural materials and a colour palette that nods to the brand’s Pacific Northwest origins.
The exterior uses custom 3D-printed recycled materials shaped around design lines found in some of Lululemon’s best-known products.
In addition to the women’s line, the flagship includes a full floor dedicated to menswear. The expanded assortment targets training, travel and everyday wear.
“Korea is one of the fastest-growing markets in our Asia-Pacific portfolio and this flagship store is a strategic investment in a market that continues to show strong momentum, driven by a vibrant community and increasing demand for premium activewear,” said Gareth Pope, GM, Lululemon, Asia Pacific.
