Known as the Clean Classics Collection, the new sneakers are 100 per cent sustainable and vegan.
In a world where sustainability is ever at the forefront of many customers minds, Adidas have remade a number of well-loved Adidas classic trainers, including the Superstar, Stan Smith, Continental 80 and Supercourt with sustainable materials in keeping with Adidas’ commitment to ending plastic waste.
The infamous white leather trainer is contrasted with pops of colour in the laces and on the sole and the main focus of this new collection is on Primegreen, in which the production requires high-performance materials where 50 per cent of the materials are recycled content. These shoes have a 70 per cent recycled material content in the upper part of the shoe, with the sole being made of reclaimed and renewable rubber.
