Korean brand Acmé de la Vie (ADLV) has unveiled the launch of its first physical store in New South Wales, marking its third shop in the country.
The shop – which sells unisex streetwear clothing and accessories – is situated on Level 4 of Westfield Chatswood in Sydney. It also has collaborations with Disney, The Simpsons, and Care Bears.
With 118sq m of retail space, the store fuses art and streetwear with urban design elements and dynamic lighting. There is a life-size sculpture in the middle of the store.
“Westfield Chatswood is a prominent fashion and lifestyle shopping hub, and we are ready to welcome new consumers while also establishing a new home for ADLV here in NSW,” said ADLV Australian Director Yee Siang.
Established by identical twins Jae-Mo and Jin-Mo Gu in 2017, ADLV is known for its oversized “baby face” hoodies and t-shirts. The brand’s name, “acmé de la vie,” which translates as “the pinnacle of life,” is based on a French phrase.
Last year, ADLV started its Australian foray by opening two brick-and-mortar stores at QV Melbourne in May and Chadstone in Victoria in December. The brand also says it is strengthening its sustainability commitment by pursuing recycling with sustainable materials.
