The sustainability-focused footwear and fashion brand has opened their second Canada store in Vancouver.
Situated at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, the store spans an area of more than 2,400sq ft and features a bright and casual interior that reflects the brand. Displays include Allbirds’ sustainably-sourced footwear, ranging from original styles to the company’s latest design, the Tree Flyer. Customers can also purchase a range of apparel, socks and underwear from the store.
The Yorkdale store has been designed to be a welcoming space for guests and it features unique customised wood chairs that even rock forward slightly to allow customers to try on their selected shoes easier.
According to Tim Brown, CEO, there are no immediate plans to open more standalone Allbirds stores in Canada. The two markets that the brand is in, Vancouver and Toronto, were chosen due to strong e-commerce sales.
