The new Apple Store will open in the IFC Mall in Yeouido, Western Seoul and will be the second in Korea, following the brand’s first store in Garosu-Gil, Southern Seoul.
Today, Apple will hold a press preview for the new retail location in Yeouido, Seoul. The store was first announced by Apple last November although no further information on an opening was supplied at the time. The new space is expected to be somewhere ‘for everyone to blossom their ideas and creativity.’
According to the website: “South Korea’s second Apple Store is coming soon in the heart of vibrant, energetic Seoul. Apple Yeouido is designed as a space for everyone to blossom their ideas and creativity. We hope that you will be able to unleash your imagination in this place where you can explore all the possibilities, communicate freely with others, and receive the energy to create something that is not in the world.”
Apple is expected to open more stores in Korea with a third store currently planned in the popular tourist hotspot of Myeongdong.
