The waterpark, which is being developed by Eagle Hills Jordan, will be a part of the Saraya Aqaba project in Jordan.
Located on the shores of the Red Sea, the Saraya Aqaba project is a mixed-use tourism and leisure destination that will encompass residential properties, four luxury hotels and entertainment outlets and facilities upon completion. One such entertainment facility will be Aqaba’s very first waterpark.
Designed by Amusement Logic, the waterpark will occupy an area of around 36 acres and will be able to accommodate as many as 1,865 guests at any one time. The park will be split into various zones, including one that is suitable for children to ensure a safe family-friendly location. The park will also boast an artificial lazy river, as many as 19 entertaining water slides and a number of surfing and water skiing simulations.
Alongside this, the park will feature a 16 metre water pool, with an overall area of 776sq m as well as a number of restaurants and food and beverage outlets.
