Vancouver-based retailer Aritzia is set to open on Monday a new New York flagship boutique at 608 Fifth Avenue.
The 33,600sq ft space, situated near Rockefeller Centre and just a block from Aritzia’s original Fifth Avenue location, is nearly three times the size of its predecessor.
The boutique has been entirely envisioned and crafted by Aritzia’s in-house design team. It features two A-OK Cafes, one with a view of the Rockefeller tree and expanded food and beverage offerings such as a new gourmet soft-serve ice cream program. The space also includes a plant-filled atrium, two-storey grand archways and expansive brickwork.
Completing the space is a curated mix of vintage European furniture, large millwork coffered ceilings and expansive marble surfaces enriched with wire-wheeled oak.
“Nearly three times the size of our original location in the area, our new Fifth Ave Flagship Boutique marks an exciting new chapter for Aritzia,” said Jennifer Wong, CEO of Aritzia. “This expanded space offers increased visibility in one of the world’s most iconic shopping districts, drawing a global audience from the heart of Rockefeller Centre. We are proud to deepen our commitment to New York City and further establish our presence in premier retail destinations across the US.”
