Dubai’s Museum of the Future has increased its stable of robots with the introduction of an agile robot dog.
Other robotic helpers include Ameca, the museum’s AI-powered humanoid, Bob the robot barista and the museum’s flying robots among several others. With 3D vision and movement through 17 joints, the robodog uses 360-degree perception to map terrain and avoid obstacles. Designed by US tech firm Boston Dynamics, the robot can even balance on uneven surfaces.
