Atelier House Hospitality is set to launch TIDES, a new underground-level bar in DIFC and it promises to bring a New York-inspired atmosphere.
Open from Thursday to Saturday between 10pm and 3am, the soon-to-launch venue will offer guests a high-end atmosphere juxtaposed with 90s hip-hop music.
Managing Director of Atelier House Hospitality, Panchali Mahendra said: “TIDES has been a passion project for over a year, and it is a delight to see it finally come to light. This launch is a tremendous culmination of the entire Atelier House Hospitality team coming together to add a new spark to the nightlife scene in DIFC. The venue is unique to Dubai, as we realised a New York-style high-end bar with a refined, engaging, and lively ambience for the after-hours crowd was lacking. We made sure to maintain the elevated standard expected for the Marea brand but inject some intrigue.”
Taking inspiration from the Italian word Marea which translates to “tide” in English, the venue is designed with nautical pieces. At opposite ends of the main marble bar are holographic octopus lights which complement the lofty ceiling featuring a large octopus chandelier positioned above the bar.
The venue accommodates 40 to 50 guests, who can enjoy a selection of bar bites by Marea Executive Chef Yunus Emre Aydin while the beverage programme has been curated by acclaimed bartender Danylo Hutsal and Marea’s bartender Cindy Lalramngaihzuali.
