The London-based bakery Bread Ahead is set to debut in the Philippines early next year through an exclusive franchise partnership with Good Eats by SSI, a subsidiary of Rustan’s Group of Companies (RGC).
This expansion marks the brand’s first foray into Southeast Asia. Under the partnership, Good Eats by SSI plans to open 15 locations across the Philippines and a dedicated bakery school.
Established in 2013, Bread Ahead is known for its fluffy doughnuts, fresh sourdough bread, babka and artisanal pastries. Since its launch, the brand has expanded to six locations across the UK. It is also actively developing its presence in the Middle East, with openings in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, targeting 35 locations in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.
