Following the launch of a selection of signature bottled beers in December 2019, the iconic Scottish brand has opened a pub at Kamala Mills in Mumbai.
The Kamala Mills location is BrewDog’s 108th taproom of BrewDog in the world and the first of its kind in India. BrewDog has consistently made waves with its chain of craft brew hotels and mini-hotels, located in Manchester and Ohio. The brand continues to expand on a rapid scale, tackling new markets and gaining new loyal customers along the way.
The newly-opened 4,500sq ft split-level taproom offers customers more than 20 different craft beers on tap including Toit’s Stray Apple, Bombay Duck’s Ride and Shine and Great State’s Belgian Blonde. Ace-Aloha Group, which owns the India franchise of BrewDog confirmed that although the beer is currently imported from the head brewery in Ellon, Scotland, there are plans in place to begin brewing at the Nashik plant.
BrewDog Mumbai also boasts an exquisite pub grub menu which has been envisioned by Chef Gaurav Gidwani, the F&B Head of BrewDog India. A selection of classic BrewDog dishes including sweet and spicy chicken wings and batter-fried cauliflower wings make an appearance alongside Indian-inspired dishes such as browned garlic chicken tikka, kung pao chicken and paneer and butter chicken naan bombs.
