COS has opened their largest store in Canada

The two-storey, 500-square-meter space opened in Vancouver at 1070 Robson Street, marking the brand’s seventh Canadian location.

True to the London-based label’s modern aesthetic, the store embraces a timeless and functional design, intertwining contemporary fixtures and original elements of the building. A dramatic central staircase is a store focal point, along with unique arched floor to ceiling windows. The flagship location adds to Cos’ existing Vancouver store at 18 Water Street in Gastown, which opened in March 2017.

The expansive new space on Robson Street compliments its sister store by bringing the brand’s full collection of womenswear, menswear and kidswear to Vancouver customers for the first time.

The store opened on Monday with the holiday collection, which includes silk dresses, cozy knits, blouses and sterling silver jewellery for women and winter coats, cashmere sweaters and minimalist shirts for men.

“We have been looking for another location in Vancouver for a number of years given how enthusiastically the city embraced our first store in Gastown,” explained Marie Honda, managing director of COS.

“We are incredibly proud of this new store, our largest in Canada, and are delighted to be able to offer our full collection to Vancouverites for the first time.”

The retailer first entered the Canadian market in September 2015 with the opening of its first store in Toronto on Bloor Street West, followed by a second store opening in downtown Montreal, and a third location at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

Launched in 2007, COs is owned by parent company H&M and is often considered H&M’s upscale fashion brand for women, men and children.
