Delivery Service Unveiled in Australia

Fast food giant McDonald’s has confirmed that it will roll out its own home delivery service for customers across the country.

Commencing today, participating restaurants in New South Wales are offering customers the chance to have their favourite foods sent to them directly via the MyMacca’s app. The McDelivery service will then be made available to more McDonald’s restaurants across the country over the coming weeks.

“McDelivery via the MyMacca’s app is now available in participating restaurants across New South Wales, with plans to roll it out across participating restaurants nationwide over the coming weeks,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.

They added: “McDelivery allows customers to place delivery orders using the MyMacca’s app, while also earning and redeeming MyMacca’s Rewards points. This is part of our ongoing commitment to providing greater value, convenience and rewards for our customers.

This latest initiative comes at a cost for customers according to news.com.au. Customers will pay 3.99 for delivery as well as a 5 per cent customer service fee for orders over $12, orders under $12 will cost an additional $2.
