Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open House of Sports stores in Brandon, FL; Kennesaw, GA; Freehold, NJ; Strongsville, OH; and Charlottesville, VA.
The retailer calls the store openings out on its website as “coming soon” as follows:
- Brandon Exchange, 686 Brandon Town Center Drive, Brandon, FL
- Town Center Commons, 667 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway NW, Kennesaw, GA
- Freehold Raceway Mall, 3710 Route 9, Freehold, NJ
- Southpark Mall, 17271 Southpark Center, Strongsville, OH
- 5th Street Station, 120 Wegmans Way, Suite 200, Charlottesville, VA
On its second-quarter analyst call in late August, Dick’s management said it expects to open 13 House of Sport stores in the third quarter, the largest number of openings within a quarter.
Overall, Dick’s expects to open 16 House of Sport locations this year, bringing the concept’s year-end total to roughly 35.
