The gardening retailer are set to re-open its entire store network across the UK from tomorrow after receiving guidance from the government that garden centres may open during the current lockdown.
Dobbies has stated that the safety of staff and customers was the priority and social distancing measures have been implemented to allow the stores to operate safely along with a limit on customer numbers in the stores at one time and a queuing system.
“We have taken care to ensure we are following guidance provided by the government, British Retail Consortium and Horticultural Trade Association to reopen responsibly, our team is well prepared, social distancing measures are in place and we look forward to welcoming customers back into our stores across England. I would like to thank our team members and customers for their understanding during these uncertain times.” – Graeme Jenkins, Dobbies Chief Executive
