Rove Hotels made its debut in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, marking its first move outside the UAE with plans now revealed for a second location.
Rove Hotels is preparing to announce a second property in Riyadh, with the expansion expected “within weeks or months”, according to Paul Bridger, Chief Operating Officer of Rove Hotels, speaking exclusively to Arabian Business.
The Dubai-born lifestyle hotel brand made its debut in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, marking its first move outside the UAE. Bridger confirmed that the initial Riyadh opening is just the beginning of a broader rollout in the Kingdom.
“We’ll probably do multiple hotels in Riyadh. I hope we’ll be announcing our second hotel within weeks or months in Riyadh,” Bridger told Arabian Business.
Saudi Arabia has emerged as a natural next step for Rove, driven by strong brand familiarity among Saudi travellers and rapid tourism and business growth in the capital. Bridger said the brand has long seen a gap in the market for its mid-scale, lifestyle-led offering. “I’ve travelled there [Saudi] a number of times a year. Honestly, a Rove is missing,” he said.
