The company has announced the sale of the Horizon Provence retail park, located in Monteux (Vaucluse, France), to Ascencio, a leading European player in commercial real estate investment.

Developed and opened by Equilis in 2025, Horizon Provence is home to around twenty retailers brought together in a strong, accessible convenience-led offer, firmly rooted in the habits of everyday life. The site is anchored by the Super U supermarket and the Maison des Agriculteurs du Vaucluse, a committed concept store featuring products from more than 150 local producers.

This food-based foundation is enhanced by a balanced commercial mix, including Marie Blachère, MyBioShop, DO&KA, Provence Outillage, Basic Fit, Krys, Coiff&Co, the Pharmacie de Monteux, as well as a range of essential local services.

Ideally located in the rapidly growing Beaulieu district, between Carpentras and Monteux, Horizon Provence enjoys strong visibility along the main Avignon-Carpentras axis and immediate proximity to major regional attractions such as Parc Spirou Provence, Wave Island, hotels and campgrounds – a context that has supported steadily increasing footfall since its opening.

In terms of sustainability, the site reflects the values upheld by Equilis and features:

•             A BREEAM “Very Good” environmental certification

•             1,500sq m of photovoltaic panels

•             36 electric vehicle parking spaces, including 8 rapid-charging stations

•             Around 1,000sq m of solar canopies in the parking area

Laurent Tirot, CEO Equilis Europe: “We are proud to have supported the creation of Horizon Provence and to have delivered a retail destination that is simple, useful and well integrated into its local environment. This transaction is part of our European development strategy, by transferring mature and attractive assets to long-term investors with a clear vision.”
