By the end of August, Etihad Airlines wants to fly to 58 destinations, and it has introduced specially trained ‘wellness ambassadors’, tasked with providing health information and care on the ground and on every flight.
Destinations in North America include Chicago, New York, Toronto and Washington DC; while European destinations include Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Brussels, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Istanbul, London Heathrow, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rome and Zurich.
In the Middle East and Africa, Etihad will have flights to Amman, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Casablanca, Kuwait, Muscat, Rabat, Riyadh and Seychelles.
Asian destinations will include Ahmedabad, Baku, Bangkok, Bengaluru, Chennai, Colombo, Delhi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Jakarta, Karachi, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Kuala Lumpur, Lahore, Male, Manila, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Thiruvananthapuram and Tokyo. Etihad will also fly to Melbourne and Sydney in Australia.
“The easing of restrictions on travel to and from the UAE is an important first step and a great development for Abu Dhabi,” said Tony Douglas, Group CEO of Etihad Aviation Group. “By August we aim to operate approximately 45 per cent of our pre-Covid-19 capacity.
