The UK’s leading specialist bike shop, has announced that it will open a brand new store in Wigan on Wednesday 6 April.
Following the recent opening of the UK’s biggest bike shop in Cheetham Hill, Evans Cycles have boosted their support for riders in the Greater Manchester area with this new store announcement. Celebrating their exciting expansion in Wigan, Evans Cycles will be running an opening offer of FREE bike health checks in-store. Customers visiting the new store will also have the opportunity to save up to 50 per cent off selected bikes.
The Evans Cycles Wigan store can be located in the Robin Retail Park, towards the west of the town. Home to World Tour road rider Chris Lawless, aka The Wigan Wagon Wheel, the northern town is taking steps to encourage more uptake of cycling within the region and improve infrastructure for local riders. Almost exactly midway between both Manchester and Liverpool, the store serves a large pool of riders living around the cities – as well as those looking to escape into the countryside lanes and trails.
Covering 3,956sq ft, the new store will stock nearly 100 bikes covering road, MTB hybrid, electric and kids bikes, from well-renowned brands such as Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, Brompton, Raleigh and their own Pinnacle brand. Clothing and accessories are also available from brands such as Castelli, Endura, and Giro. The store will also serve the local community with a fully equipped workshop where customers can get their bikes fixed by one of Evans’ expert mechanics.
