The footwear brand is expanding its ‘Power Store’ concept to the Canadian market, with the first store located in Vancouver.
Foot Locker debuted the ‘Power Store’ concept in the UK opening stores in London and Liverpool. The success of these saw the branch launch the concept in Hong Kong and the US, which saw a number of successful openings including Detroit, Philadelphia and New York. The brand has now opened their Vancouver location and plans to open another location in Toronto.
The new store, which occupies an area of 15,000sq ft and spans three storeys, houses an assortment of brands including Nike, Jordan and Adidas and provides products for men, women and children. The second floor is an activation space that will host events with brand partners and other influencers.
“We are so excited to bring our Power Store model to Canada over the next two months. Although the shopping experience is different with current guidelines, we look forward to bringing locally-curated experiences to the Vancouver and Toronto sneaker communities,” commented Richard McLeod, Vice President of Marketing for Foot Locker, North America.
