Hermes Launches Expanded IconSiam Unit

The brand has reopened its store in Bangkok’s IconSiam mall, unveiling a larger, redesigned space that reflects the capital’s fast-growing appetite for luxury retail.

First launched in 2018, the boutique is one of three Hermes locations in the city and now features a double-height layout, framed by a full-glass facade overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

The store brings together “all 16 of the French house’s métiers”, with the first floor showcasing women’s silk and jewellery, men’s silk, beauty, ready-to-wear and footwear, while the ground floor houses watches, jewellery, equestrian items, leather goods and homeware.

The redesign was led by Paris-based architecture firm RDAI and it incorporates local craftsmanship through rattan columns and custom carpets that reflect the flow of the nearby river. There are artworks from the Emile Hermes and contemporary photography collections, including Nocturne 3 by Marie Joubert, as well as rattan-and-metal horse sculptures by Thai artist Terawat Teankaprasith.

The reopening underscores Hermes’ continued expansion in Thailand’s luxury sector, as international brands target Bangkok’s high-spending consumers and growing tourist traffic.
