Getting ahead of the curve, citizenM has revealed its expansion plans for the upcoming year, which once complete will bring its portfolio up to 32 sites.
Opening in Q1 2023, the second citizenM hotel in Miami will launch at the World Center. The hotel will feature 351 rooms and a large rooftop pool and bar. The new development will be surrounded by a diverse mix of retail, hospitality and entertainment spaces and will be ideally positioned in the financial hub of the city.
Q1 next year will also see the launch of citizenM Paris Opera, the brand’s fifth site in the iconic city, joining current properties citizenM Paris Champs-Elysées, citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon, citizenM Paris La Defense, and citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle. It will house 84 rooms and become one of the smallest units in the portfolio.
Meanwhile, the third quarter of the year will see the opening of citizenM Austin Downtown which will host 344 rooms as well as a gym and another rooftop pool and bar. The 17-storey tower will add to the company’s growing US portfolio.
