The indoor skydiving experience will be an anchor attraction at the new 10-04 Borden Avenue development.

iFly, which is the world leader in indoor skydiving tunnels, will be opening its first New York City attraction. The company has now signed a lease for a state-of-the-art facility that will cover 6,800sq ft of retail space between the first and second floors of 10-04 Borden Avenue.

Borden Ave Op Zone, a joint venture between New York-based developer The VOREA Group and Andru Coren, is bringing 10-04 Borden Avenue to life. The project itself will transform an old commuter car park into a flexible mixed-use space. It will cover 50,000sq ft with three storeys and more than 6,000sq ft of outdoor space.

Patrick Framel, iFly VP of Global Development, said: “We couldn’t be more excited about partnering with Vorea to bring iFly to Long Island City. This project will be truly iconic; VOREA has the vision and capabilities to make the dream of a flight a reality in Long Island City.”
