Occupying a space of 22,600sq ft, the new store is located in Al Wahda Mall and is expected to open on November 10.
The opening of the new Al Wahda Mall store is in line with the brands recent commitment to expanding their presence across the UAE and follows a successful opening at its Jebel Ali Festival Plaza Store – the largest in Dubai. This is the brands second store in Abu Dhabi and the brand’s fifth across the Emirates with plans to open in UAE, Cairo and Muscat in the coming years.
The store will house Ikea’s iconic ready-to-assemble furniture and home essentials as well as other solutions and services for home improvement including kitchen planning, textile stitching among others. The store will also be a collection point for deliveries for customers who have placed online orders. The iconic IKEA café is also housed in the store and will provide dine-in and take away options.
Al Wahda Mall remains a top destination for shopping, entertainment, and leisure in the heart of Abu Dhabi, so we are thrilled to be able to bring our new IKEA concept store to this location.
