The group has announced that they will be closing a number of Pull & Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius stores across China.

The news comes as the company intends to focus its strategy on its online channel as consumer demand is more concentrated in this area, rather than at physical store locations.

The group first launched in 2009 with Pull & Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius and now has 467 stores across China, with another 26 in the Hong Kong region and 5 in Macau. The decision to close stores will affect a total of 93 establishments across Mainland China, with 37 Pull & Bear, 34 Bershka and 22 Stradivarius locations all set to close over the coming months.
