Italy’s Kiton has announced the opening of its Seoul flagship store, marking the luxury fashion brand’s retail entry into South Korea.
Located in the capital’s Cheongdam-dong district, along the famous Luxury Fashion Street, the new Kiton Seoul store spans 350sq m over two levels and was designed by Studio B+Architects, the architecture firm behind Kiton store designs since 2017.
Outside, the exterior façade measures more than 24m high and is covered with metal mesh, made of anodised aluminium in two different shades of bronze, with a woven pattern. A special backlighting gives the façade a vibrant effect that transforms in accordance with natural light.
Inside takes its inspiration from a linear design that combines clean shapes and neutral colours with soft finishes. The Seoul boutique is comprised of a wide range of materials, which interact with the furnishing elements, which were also entirely designed by B+Architects.
The Kiton Seoul store joins the Italian luxury brand’s other four locations in China, taking its Asia store count to five.
