L.L. Bean Continues Expansion in Canada

The outdoor apparel retailer is opening their fourth store at the CF Shops at Don Mills in Toronto.

L.L. Bean currently operates 54 stores across the US including its 220,000sq ft headquarters located in Freeport and an additional 28 stores in Japan. The outdoor gear and apparel retailer entered the Canadian market in 2018 with the launch of its e-commerce site, followed by the launch of a Canada-specific catalogue. The company opened its first physical store in Oakville, Canada in 2019. Since this the brand has gone on to open further locations in Ottawa and Barrie.

“While we are opening our final store for the year, we look forward to what 2021 will bring for L.L. Bean in Canada,” commented Greg Elder, VP of Retail and International of L.L. Bean.

Howie Kastner, President of Jaytex Group, L.L. Bean’s Canadian partner, added: “We are excited about the success of the three stores that have already opened in Ontario as well as the overall success L.L. Bean is having in Canada this year.”
