The sports hat retailer has launched a new website for exclusive product drops and plans to open new stores.
The newly-launched website Lids Hat Drop is expected to drop two weekly releases with items ranging from between $45 and $55. The first product drop will be a set of two New Era 59Fitty fitted style hats merchandised for various sports teams. These include the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The hats have been designed in collaboration with Casino Pack, and are priced at $50 and they take inspiration from the design and colours of a traditional poker table and roulette wheel. The brand is hoping to drop more than 40 new products on the site over the next few months.
In addition to this new eCommerce offering, the Lids brand has revealed plans to expand its physical footprint by opening new brick-and-mortar locations. Currently, Lids has round 2,000 stores in the US, Canada and the UK.
