One of the UK’s top super regional centres, Merry Hill, is to welcome two new F&B operators, Heavenly Desserts and Burger & Sauce.
The duo are the final additions to Merry Hill’s leisure quarter and follow a landmark year for dining at the destination in 2024, with both spend and conversion rates for dining surpassing the regional mall benchmarks.
Opening in April, Heavenly Desserts has signed for a 68-cover, 2,189sq ft unit. Located next to Wingstop and opposite the recently opened Loungers, the brand will deliver a dedicated dessert offer to the leisure quarter, complementing the line-up of savoury operators.
West Midlands-favourite burger brand, Burger & Sauce, will bolster Merry Hill’s roster of quick-service operators, opening a 2,106sq ft location later this year. The restaurant will serve up freshly made burgers, wings and loaded fries, with room for 54 seated diners.
Alistair Winning, Asset Manager at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, on behalf of Merry Hill, commented: “The signings of Heavenly Desserts and Burger & Sauce are significant ones, because their openings later this year will signal the completion of the leisure quarter letting. The southern mall has truly been transformed into a dynamic dining destination, bringing together a blend of sit-in, quick-service, savoury and sweet options, to respond to ever-evolving consumer demand and complement the nearby leisure from Hollywood Bowl and Odeon.”
