The new service offers customers a contactless way to order and pay for items from the Morrisons menu via their own mobile device.

While Morrisons cafes are currently closed, customers are still able to enjoy delicious meals including the famous Big Breakfast, kids meals or pizzas by ordering the food to takeaway. Now, the service has been made even easier to use as customers simply need to visit Morrisons.com/café or scan the QR code in the café itself. Customers then select their store, choose the items they want from the menu, pay with card and pick up their order.

Jordan McLean, Morrisons Director of Technology said: “We know how popular our cafes are with our customers and so in this current climate we’re really pleased to be able to offer them this extra reassurance.  We’re continuing to invest in our digital offer and our customers will be able to see some other exciting improvements in our cafes in the coming weeks”.

All items on the menu are then prepared by hand and packaged in cardboard takeaway boxes. The service is available from all of Morrisons 407 cafes.
