The site has opened at the Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, introducing a fine dining approach to Saudi cuisine.
The restaurant presents the Kingdom’s history and heritage through a curated culinary journey designed for both local and international diners.
The interiors were developed by Saudi designer Ghadeer Ashour, with details that reflect aspects of the Kingdom’s identity. Each lighting element, texture and material was selected to highlight local hospitality.
Among the notable design features are table lamps hand-stitched by Saudi women artisans in Jeddah. Bespoke cutlery and plates were produced to reflect stories from different regions, ensuring every element contributes to a wider cultural narrative.
The restaurant is led by an all-female management team. Chef Ahad Alghamdi oversees the kitchen and development of the menu, while outlets manager Ebtisam Alkhaulif directs service and daily operations.
They aim to position NOMAS as a platform that highlights the role of Saudi women within the hospitality sector.
