The new hotel will have 150 rooms overlooking the Greg Norman-designed Al Mouj Golf Club; It will become operational in 2027.
The Saud Bahwan Group, which has a long history of association with Japan and has been instrumental in bringing some of the biggest Japanese brands to Oman, is now joining hands with the Okura Nikko Hotel Management group to bring the first-ever Okura-branded property and the first Japanese-branded hotel in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Okura Resort Muscat will be a sprawling property located at the southeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, overlooking the beautiful Al Mouj Golf Club in the capital of Oman. Saud Bahwan Group will manage the new property.
The new hotel, which is expected to be operational by 2027, will have 150 guest rooms, each with a standard area of approximately 50sq m. The rooms will feature views of the Greg Norman-designed golf course that has hosted world-class events and won accolades for its design.
