The Asian-themed chain is launching a number of new P.F. Chang’s To Go in different markets.

P.F. Chang’s is an Asian restaurant concept founded on making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. Created in 1993 by Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming, P.F. Chang’s is the first multi-unit restaurant concept in the US to honour and celebrate the 2000 year-old tradition of wok cooking as the centre of the guest experience. The brands new P.F. Chang’s To Go concept is dedicated exclusively to take-out customers.

Following an initial launch of the new P.F. Chang’s To Go concept in Chicago earlier this year, the brand has now launched in New York City, opening a 1700sq ft store, the brand has announced that it also plans to open two more locations in Manhattan and then a further 12 across Florida, Colorado and Texas. The new store features a much smaller format, making them the perfect size for metropolitan areas where there isn’t always space readily available for a full-scale restaurant.

“P.F. Chang’s established its 2020 business strategy with a focus on off-premise dining, and then we experience a year that brought an incredible shift in dining habits and industry practices. Asian has always been a go-to take out cuisine and off premise dining is a model where P.F. Chang’s shows its strength, which has allowed us to continue to meet consumer demand for elevated Asian cuisine in an easily-accessible way,” commented Damola Adamolekun, Chief Executive Officer at P.F. Chang’s.
