Paris Welcomes New Kilo Shop Flagship

Located in the République district of the French capital, the new store occupies a vast area of 700sq m.

Kilo Shop promotes a concept entirely based around the recycling of vintage clothing to promote ecology. The brand looks to give clothing a second lease of life and each item sold in a Kilo Shop is carefully selected by their teams who are passionate about ethical and responsible fashion.

Located at 23 rue de Faubourg du Temple, the new store occupies a former dance hall that boasts high ceilings, a stage, wooden furniture, metal and recycled wood. Customers are able to purchase men’s and women’s clothes by weight.

Eric Rey, Retail Director of Eureka Fripe, the new store is successful due to the new boom in second hand. He explains: “This explains our success: the prices of course, and our playful approach, the originality and authenticity of the clothes presented, but also growing attraction for second hand, and the desire to adopt a responsible behaviour in reducing the ecological footprint linked to the textile industry.”
