The trending Asian toy and collectibles retailer is planning a major mall expansion in 2026 with the help of Simon Property Group.
Pop Mart will open at more than 20 Simon malls and outlet centres across the country this year, including one at of Simon’s largest properties – King of Prussia.
Pop Mart stores feature interactive displays, blind box collectible drops and a wide selection of fan-favourite characters from the brand’s IP. Fuelled by the recent Labubu collectible trend, Pop Mart has been expanding its footprint and now operates more than 60 brick-and-mortar locations in the Americas. Last November, the brand made its debut in Canada, with at least two more stores planned for 2026.
“Pop Mart’s rapid growth and cultural influence make them an exciting and complementary addition to our portfolio,” said Zachary Beloff, VP, National Director of Business Development at Simon. “Its expanded footprint reflects our commitment to delivering fresh, high-demand retail experiences that today’s shoppers are seeking.”
“We’re pleased to deepen our partnership with Simon as we continue expanding across key US markets,” said Luis Barrientos, Executive VP of Business Development at Pop Mart. “Expanding access to our in-demand IP is a key pillar of our long-term growth strategy in North America.”
