Oman-based Al Taher Group has announced that continuous and steady progress is being made on the four-phase makeover of the premier retail and leisure destination.
The redevelopment of Oman Avenues Mall comprises large-scale infrastructure enhancements, including the introduction of a dedicated flyover extension as well as bridges and the expansion of adjacent roads that will connect the property to popular and central areas.
In their recent announcement, Al Taher Group has announced that the upgrade of the road into a four-lane road will be completed in the next few days and work is already in full swing on the two bridges that connect the feeder roads. Meanwhile, the extension of the flyover connection to the mall is expected to be completed later this year.
On the ongoing revamp work, Development Director Engineer Saud Mohammed Al Khalili said: “Al Taher Group is pleased that the expansion works of Oman Avenues Mall are on schedule. This project is a landmark development in Muscat that is advantageously situated to meet local demand in a burgeoning catchment area with a youthful demography and positioned to serve Oman’s flourishing business and leisure visitor numbers.”
