Russia Plans Indoor Water Park

Plans have been announced for a $70M indoor water park, hotel and entertainment complex on Russky Island in Vladivostok.

Eastern Aqua Paradise LLC and VEB Engineering LLC have signed an agreement to develop Aquaparadise on Russky Island in Vladivostok, Russia. Upon completion, Aquaparadise will feature an indoor water park, shopping and entertainment area, and sports and recreation complex as well as a hotel. Operated by Accor, the Novotel-branded hotel will feature spa and fitness areas, business centres and restaurants.

Minister for Economic Development in Primorye, Natalya Naboychenko, commented: “I am confident that Aquaparadise will become the pearl of the seaside capital, which will push the weather and seasonal boundaries for all lovers of water and sports entertainment.”

“There is no doubt that the project of the Aquaparadise complex has significant social potential and with its implementation the seaside capital will finally meet global trends.”
