S.Oliver Opens Flagship Store in Munich

S.Oliver has opened its flagship store in Munich’s Neuhauser Strasse. The brand is thus returning to one of the most prominent shopping miles in the Isar metropolis.

The new store concept, rolled out to 750sq m, ranges from digital service points to large screens and iPad POS systems to a specially developed room fragrance. The range includes clothing and accessories for women, men and children, casual wear as well as business and occasion wear.

The highlight of the new store is the work of art created by Peter Lindenberg especially for the opening. The Berlin artist, known for his abstract paintings and objects, has made an approximately six-meter-high installation entitled “Work in Process”. With a mix of different materials such as molton, cable, metal and copper pipe, it shows the typical development process in the tailoring trade.

The new flagship store is supposed to stand for a “new kind of shopping” and marks the starting shot for the future retail strategy of the Rottendorfer.

CEO Claus-Dietrich Lahr emphasises: “Brick-and-mortar retail is a cornerstone of our business and we cannot be imagined without it. Here we have direct contact with our customers and can score with excellent service. We are pleased that we are back now return to the top locations and enrich the experience of the city centre with another attractive offer.”
