Chinese luxury department store franchise SKP has set its sights on Wuhan, unveiling its fourth location in the heart of Wuhan’s Wuchang district.
SKP Wuhan, a sprawling six-storey complex spanning 2.1 million square feet, introduces over 1,000 international first-tier brands to the bustling metropolis. Designed by the architecture and design studio Sybarite, which also helmed SKP-S in Beijing, SKP Wuhan stands as a beacon of opulence.
The outdoor promenade, a new addition to the SKP format, boasts a line-up of 44 luxury and fashion brands, including coveted luxury labels like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, and Prada.
As a city renowned for its industrial businesses, Wuhan now finds itself adorned with imposing hoardings showcasing the crests of luxury giants along its riverside corridor, stretching over 1.5 kilometres.
Among the flagship stores that have already opened their doors are Bottega Veneta and Longchamp. Inside the mall, marble-clad atriums house the likes of Bulgari and Louis Vuitton. The SKP Select Beauty corner, a mecca boasting over 150 renowned beauty brands, over 100 of which are making their debut in Wuhan.
