Plans have been revealed to renovate Twinings 216 Strand in London into an experience store.
The Twinings’ 216 Strand store dates back to 1706 and is London’s oldest tea shop. Despite being an extremely popular tourist destination, the brand wanted to offer an experiential journey to their customers and so creative agency Dalziel & Pow have been drafted in to transform the location into the ‘true spiritual home of the Twinings brand.’
Dalziel & Pow have created four interactive areas that focus on the heritage of the brand as well as Twinings’ innovation, wellness, lifestyle and ethical sourcing. Adorned with grass cloth, raw oak, brass and stone to ‘give a sense of natural craft, quality and authenticity’ the materials used compliments the theme of the newly renovated store perfectly.
A sampling bar is also located in the store where customers can taste products, attend masterclasses or hold private events.
