The well-known burger company is on the lookout for a master franchisee as it ramps up its growth plans in Australia.
The third largest quick-service restaurant chain already has 7,000 outlets worldwide after Founder Dave Thomas opened the very first Wendy’s restaurant in 1969.
Now the chain is readying to hit the market Down Under, with consultancy firm DC Strategy tasked with recruiting master franchisees. Whoever is appointed will need to have franchise and operations experience and a proven track record for growing brands in Australia.
There is no set agenda for the first store location, nor a pre-determined number of outlets. These will be determined by the master franchisee, DC Strategy confirmed.
