Despite the ongoing impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, the convenience-store has maintained its profitability.
Recorded profit for the half year from the brand’s convenience-store and pharmaceutical business totalled $5.8M and $1.4M respectively.
“We are pleased that we continue to be profitable this quarter in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic where people were under a movement control order and we have been required to operate with restricted hours and store closures.” commented Group Chief Executive Colin Harvey.
The group remains extremely positive about their opportunities for growth within the market, particularly after witnessing this positive profit in the midst of a global pandemic. It is expected that the group will explore further opportunities for growth in the market as the world slowly starts to recover.
